Theo Jackson MIN DB
Vikings' Theo Jackson: Participating in OTAs
19m agoJackson (toe) took part in OTAs on Tuesday, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Jackson missed the final two games of 2023 with a toe issue, but he appears to have fully recovered from the injury and was participating in drills Tuesday with fellow safeties Harrison Smith and Josh Metellus. Jackson logged 381 snaps -- 123 on defense, 258 on special teams -- over 15 games last season, recording 21 tackles (14 solo) and one interception. He re-signed with Minnesota on a one-year, $985,000 contract in February.

Ed Ingram MIN OG
Vikings' Ed Ingram: Back for OTAs
29m agoIngram (shoulder) participated in the Vikings' OTA practice Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Ingram missed the Vikings' regular-season finale after sustaining a shoulder injury in Week 17 against the Packers. The 2022 second-round pick out of LSU appears fully recovered from the injury and is slated to be the starting right guard for Minnesota for 2024.
-
Jonah Jackson LAR OG
Rams' Jonah Jackson: Limited in OTAs
42m agoHead coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that Jackson (knee) participated in individual drills during OTAs, Adam Grosbard of The Orange Country Register reports.
Jackson sustained a minor meniscus tear in the Lions' divisional-round playoff win over the Buccaneers that forced him out of the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers. He signed with the Rams on a three-year, $51 million deal in March, and McVay noted that Jackson is expected to participate in 11-on-11 drills at some point during the offseason program.

Claudin Cherelus CAR LB
Panthers' Claudin Cherelus: Participating in OTAs
1h agoCherelus (knee) was on the field for OTAs on Monday, Joseph Person of The Athletic reports.
Cherelus was placed on the IR on November 3 due to a knee injury, and he missed the Panthers' last 10 regular-season games. He played in six games for Carolina in 2023, with all 105 of his snaps coming on special teams.
-
Dante Stills ARI DT
Cardinals' Dante Stills: Participating in OTAs
1h agoStills (knee) was on the field for OTAs on Monday, per the Cardinals' official site.
Stills ended last season on the IR due to a knee injury. The 2023 sixth-round pick finished his rookie season with 47 tackles (18 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery over 15 games while playing 508 snaps on defense.
-
Wes Schweitzer NYJ OG
Jets' Wes Schweitzer: Back on field for OTAs
1h agoSchweitzer (calf) was on the field for OTAs on Monday, per the Jets' official site.
Schweitzer landed on the IR twice last season due to the same calf injury, but he now appears to be fully recovered. The 2016 sixth-round pick has primarily spent his career at guard, but multiple injuries led to Schweitzer playing across the offensive line, including at center.

Bobby Witt KC SS
Royals' Bobby Witt: Fills stat sheet in win
4m agoWitt went 3-for-4 with two home runs, six RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.
Witt has six extra-base hits over his last five games, going 8-for-20 (.400) in that span. He hadn't hit a homer since May 8, but he made up for it with a three-run blast in the second inning and a solo shot in the sixth. Witt also had an RBI single and a sacrifice fly in the contest. The star shortstop is slashing .304/.362/.546 with seven homers, 31 RBI, 45 runs scored, 16 steals, 14 doubles and three triples over 50 contests as he continues to show off his do-it-all ability.
-
Yusei Kikuchi TOR SP
Blue Jays' Yusei Kikuchi: Stuck with loss
5m agoKikuchi (2-4) took the loss Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks across six innings. He struck out six.
Tuesday's performance marked Kikuchi's third quality start in his last four appearances. However, he owns a 0-2 record during that stretch as the Blue Jays have struggled offensively. The 33-year-old walked multiple batters for the first time since April 10 and was charged with two earned runs or fewer for the eighth time in 10 outings. On the year, Kikuchi owns a 2.64 ERA -- which would be a career-best tally -- with 61 strikeouts across 58.0 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Tigers on Sunday.
-
Clayton Andrews NYY RP
Yankees' Clayton Andrews: Optioned to Triple-A
5m agoThe Yankees optioned Andrews to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
Andrews was selected from Triple-A earlier Tuesday, and he will now head back to the minors immediately following New York's loss to the Mariners -- though now he has a spot on the 40-man roster. The left-hander only pitched one-third of an inning against Seattle, allowing a solo home run to Luke Raley in the process. Although Andrews has been serviceable in the minors since being DFA'd in mid-April, his career 27.00 ERA through 3.2 big-league innings may cause the Yankees to look elsewhere if they need to rely on their organizational bullpen depth later in the year.
-
Alec Marsh KC SP
Royals' Alec Marsh: Collects fourth win
7m agoMarsh (4-1) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings to earn the win over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Marsh completed six innings for just the second time this year, earning his second quality start in the process. He gave up a two-run triple to Matt Vierling and an RBI single to Colt Keith as the Tigers rallied in the fourth inning, but that was all of the damage. Marsh has limited opponents to one earned run or less in five of his eight starts this season, maintaining a strong 2.72 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 36:12 K:BB over 43 innings. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Minnesota.
-
Mike Tauchman CHC RF
Cubs' Mike Tauchman: Productive from leadoff spot
7m agoTauchman went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Tuesday's 4-3, 10-inning win over Atlanta.
Tauchman served as the leadoff hitter and DH in this one, and he continued his solid play, pushing his average to .262 and his OPS to .789. The veteran is seeing regular time at DH and in right field, with Seiya Suzuki also in the mix for both spots. Tauchman isn't the most exciting fantasy option, but he's worth a look in deeper formats given his role and production.
-
Dansby Swanson CHC SS
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Records two hits in return
11m agoSwanson (knee) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3, 10-inning win over Atlanta.
Swanson was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday night and he made his return to the lineup Tuesday after missing two weeks. The shortstop hit the ground running against his former team, though he's been off to a slow start overall with just a .218 batting average across 38 games. Swanson should still see regular playing time moving forward despite his struggles, and he's talented enough to heat up in a hurry.
-
Kristaps Porzingis BOS C
Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Targeting Game 4 return
3h agoPorzingis (calf) won't play in Thursday's Game 2 against the Pacers but could return as soon as Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 27, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Porzingis has already been ruled out for Game 1 on Tuesday and seems set to miss at least the next two games of the series. In Porzingis' absence, Al Horford should continue to start at center for Boston, with Luke Kornet receiving extended playing time off the bench.
-
Mike Conley MIN PG
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Deemed questionable for Game 1
5h agoConley (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Timberwolves.
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain but has suited up in each of Minnesota's last two contests. The veteran guard played 38 minutes in Game 7 against Denver, so he will likely be set for a full workload if he's upgraded to available.
-
Olivier-Maxence Prosper DAL SF
Mavericks' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Another absence coming
6h agoProsper (ankle) is out for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Timberwolves.
Prosper's absence streak will extend to 12 games Wednesday due to a left ankle sprain. There is no timetable for the rookie forward's return.
-
Luka Doncic DAL PG
Mavericks' Luka Doncic: Likely to play Wednesday
6h agoDoncic (knee/ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Timberwolves.
Doncic continues to deal with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness but has yet to miss a game these playoffs. The superstar guard is averaging 42.1 minutes per contest across his 12 appearances this postseason.
-
Xavier Tillman BOS C
Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Won't be available for Game 1
9h agoTillman (personal) has been ruled out for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers on Tuesday.
Tillman will join Kristaps Porzingis (calf) as unavailable, but the former's absence shouldn't impact Boston's rotation, as he's appeared in just three of Boston's first 10 postseason contests. Al Horford and Luke Kornet should continue to handle all meaningful minutes at center in Game 1.
-
Xavier Tillman BOS C
Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Questionable for Game 1
1d agoTillman is questionable for Tuesday's Game 1 against the Pacers due to personal reasons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Tillman hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation during the playoffs, appearing in just three matchups and averaging 1.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game. While it's unclear whether he'll be available to begin the Eastern Conference Finals, his status shouldn't significantly impact the rotation.
-
Filip Kral TOR D
Penguins' Filip Kral: Signs one-year contract
7h agoKral inked a one-year, two-way deal with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
The Maple Leafs originally drafted Kral under now-Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas, so his addition to the organization shouldn't be a complete surprise. The 24-year-old defenseman had five goals and 37 points in 46 contests with the Pelicans in Finland's top league. He struggled to show that level of offensive upside in previous AHL stints, so fantasy players probably don't need to jump on Kral even in dynasty formats.
-
Johnny Gruden PIT C
Penguins' Johnny Gruden: Signs two-year deal
7h agoGruden penned a two-year, two-way contract with the Penguins on Tuesday.
Gruden played in just 13 games at the NHL level this season in which he generated one goal on nine shots, 35 hits and five blocks while averaging 8:40 of ice time. At this point, the youngster will be hard-pressed to break into the 23-man roster full-time next season but should see his fair share of call-ups throughout the campaign.
-
Jack St. Ivany PIT D
Penguins' Jack St. Ivany: Grabs three-year deal
7h agoSt. Ivany agreed to terms on a three-year, two-way contract with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
St. Ivany managed just one point in his 14 NHL appearances this season while averaging 13:42 of ice time. The 24-year-old blueliner is likely a long shot to make the 23-man roster for Opening Night this fall but should be atop the list of potential call-ups throughout the year.
-
Martin Pospisil CGY C
Flames' Martin Pospisil: Injured at World Championship
8h agoPospisil suffered an apparent upper-body injury in Slovakia's matchup with Sweden on Monday, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Pospisil has been lighting it up at the international tournament with three goals and four assists. In his rookie campaign, the 24-year-old center notched eight goals and 16 helpers despite not having a significant role with the man advantage. Barring a long-term injury, Pospisil should be capable of improving on those numbers in his sophomore campaign.
-
Ryan McDonagh TB D
Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Returning to Bolts
10h agoMcDonagh was traded to the Lightning from the Predators along with a 2024 fourth-round pick in exchange for a 2025 second-round selection and 2024 seventh-round pick.
McDonagh spent five seasons with the Lightning during his previous stint, logging 267 regular-season games for the club while lifting Lord Stanley's Cup twice during his stay. McDonagh figures to slot into a third pairing for the Lightning. With the acquisition of McDonagh, Tampa Bay is unlikely to re-sign Matt Dumba or Calvin de Haan.
-
Ryan Lindgren NYR D
Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Missing from practice again
11h agoLindgren was absent for his third straight day due to maintenance issues, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports Tuesday.
At this point, Lindgren's absences are becoming a concern regarding his availability for Game 1 against the Panthers on Wednesday. If the blueliner does miss any contests, it will likely result in increased ice time for Erik Gustafsson in addition to seeing Zac Jones enter the lineup for the first time since April 7 versus the Habs.
