Will Levis TEN QBTitans' Will Levis: Moves past foot issue
4m agoLevis (foot) participated in 7-on-7 drills during Tuesday's OTA session.
Back in February, Levis -- who was slowed by a foot injury late last season -- relayed that he was close to 100 percent at that time. At this stage, the second-year QB appears to have put the issue behind him, and on Tuesday Levis got in some work with the Titans' top wideouts, a group that includes free-agent additions Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, along with returnees DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks. With veteran RyanTannehill no longer in the mix, Levis approaches the coming season as the team's clear-cut top QB, backed up by Mason Rudolph and Malik Willis. During his rookie season, the Kentucky product completed 149-of-255 passing attempts for 1,808 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions in nine starts.

Jackson worked as the Titans' punt returner last season before he suffered a season-ending ankle injury Week 2 against the Chargers. Now healthy, he'll likely be competing with 2024 sixth-round selection, Jha'Quan Jackson for that role this season.

Christian Gonzalez NE CBPatriots' Christian Gonzalez: Returns to field
29m agoGonzalez (shoulder) practiced during OTAs on Monday, Mike Dussault of the Patriots' official site reports.
Gonzalez suffered a season-ending torn labrum Week 4 against the Cowboys last season and was originally uncertain for OTAs. However, the second-year-pro appeared to be a full participant according to Dussault, which is good news for New England's secondary.

1h agoLowe (head) practiced Tuesday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Lowe exited New England's season finale against the Jets due to a head injury, but the third-year pro appears to have put the injury in the rearview mirror. A sixth-round selection in 2022, Lowe saw reps ahead of 2024 third-round selection, Caedan Wallace.

Isaiah Bolden NE CBPatriots' Isaiah Bolden: Will be competing for depth role
1h agoBolden (concussion) will take part in OTAs this week, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Bolden missed the entirety of his rookie season due to a concussion that placed him on IR. The Jackson State product is now healthy though, and will be competing against several other names for a roster spot behind Christian Gonzalez, Jonathan Jones and Marcus Jones at cornerback.

David Bakhtiari GB OTDavid Bakhtiari: On schedule for return
1h agoBakhtiari (knee) had a positive follow-up exam with expert Dr. Brian Cole, and Cole proclaimed him on schedule for a 2024 season return, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Bakhtiari was released by the Packers in March, but previously stated he had every intention of suiting up somewhere for the 2024 campaign, as long as he was healthy enough to do so. The two-time first-team All-Pro tackle likely will be able to garner interest from multiple NFL teams once he can start working out for them.

Elias Diaz COL CRockies' Elias Diaz: Returns to lineup
4m agoDiaz (hand) is in the Rockies' lineup Tuesday versus the Athletics.
Diaz missed four consecutive games for the Rockies due to nursing a hand injury. He also had an additional day to recover with the off day for the team Monday. Jacob Stallings was starting in his place, but will return to the bench Tuesday.

Sean Bouchard COL RFRockies' Sean Bouchard: Optioned to Triple-A
4m agoThe Rockies optioned Bouchard to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.
With Kris Bryant (back) returning from the injured list, Bouchard will head back to the minors to free up a roster spot. The 28-year-old outfielder has put up a 1.042 OPS in the minors so far, though his numbers fell to .222/.333/.370 across 63 plate appearances upon moving to the big leagues. He would likely return to Colorado later this season if the Rockies find themselves in need of outfield depth.

Kris Bryant COL DHRockies' Kris Bryant: Back in action
12m agoBryant (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game in Oakland, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
Bryant returns to the lineup for the Rockies on Tuesday, starting at first base and batting fifth. The 32-year-old landed on the injured list April 17 with a lower back strain. The veteran was slashing only .149/.273/.255 over 13 games before getting injured. With his return to the lineup, Sean Bouchard has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Kyle Hendricks CHC SPCubs' Kyle Hendricks: Sent to bullpen
13m agoManager Craig Counsell said Tuesday that Hendricks will pitch out of the bullpen moving forward, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.
The veteran right-hander enjoyed a resurgent 2023 with a 3.74 ERA in 24 outings, but this season has been a disaster with a 10.57 ERA across 30.2 innings. A return to the rotation could be in store if Hendricks is able to get on track out of the bullpen. He has just one non-playoff relief appearance during his 11-year MLB career.

25m agoAlexander (ribs) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.
Alexander was placed on the 15-day injured list at the end of March with a left rib contusion. The left-hander fired a scoreless seventh inning with a strikeout in his most recent rehab assignment for Triple-A Las Vegas. With his return, Tyler Ferguson was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas in a corresponding move Tuesday.

Almonte has been dealing with a right shoulder strain but has resumed throwing after being shut down for nearly two weeks. It's unclear if he'll need a rehab assignment, but he'll likely be out for at least another week.

Tillman will join Kristaps Porzingis (calf) as unavailable, but the former's absence shouldn't impact Boston's rotation, as he's appeared in just three of Boston's first 10 postseason contests. Al Horford and Luke Kornet should continue to handle all meaningful minutes at center in Game 1.

1d agoTillman is questionable for Tuesday's Game 1 against the Pacers due to personal reasons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Tillman hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation during the playoffs, appearing in just three matchups and averaging 1.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game. While it's unclear whether he'll be available to begin the Eastern Conference Finals, his status shouldn't significantly impact the rotation.

As expected, Porzingis will remain sidelined to start the Eastern Conference Finals due to a right calf strain he suffered in Boston's opening-round series versus Miami. The Latvian big man didn't practice Monday, so it doesn't appear he's close to game action. However, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Friday that Boston is optimistic that Porzingis could return at some point during the series versus Indiana.

Porzingis sustained a calf injury during the first round of the playoffs and isn't expected to be available for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers. His absence from practice reflects that pessimism, while Al Horford and Luke Kornet should continue to see an uptick in playing time during Tuesday's Game 1.

1d agoCaldwell-Pope racked up five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Caldwell-Pope scored single digits for the sixth time in the past eight games, highlighting the Nuggets' struggles when it comes to depth on the offensive end. While he continues to play a key role for Denver, his lack of production cannot be ignored when it comes to fantasy value. Looking ahead to next season, there is no reason to think he will be anything more than a situational streamer, utilized for steals and threes.

1d agoMurray provided 35 points (13-27 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 43 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to Minnesota in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Murray did everything he could to get the Nuggets over the line but ultimately came up short. He and Nikola Jokic scored 69 of the Nuggets' 90 points, highlighting just how unimpactful their bench was. While it was a disappointing end for Murray, his production this year aligned with what fantasy managers expected coming into the season. Given they will likely be contending again next season, there is no reason to think anything changes from a fantasy perspective in 2024-25.

1h agoKral inked a one-year, two-way deal with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
The Maple Leafs originally drafted Kral under now-Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas, so his addition to the organization shouldn't be a complete surprise. The 24-year-old defenseman spent last season playing overseas with Finnish club the Pelicans. In his 46 contests, Kral notched five goals and 32 assists. He struggled to show that level of offensive upside in previous AHL stints, so fantasy players probably don't need to jump on Kral even in dynasty formats.

1h agoGruden penned a two-year, two-way contract with the Penguins on Tuesday.
Gruden played in just 13 games at the NHL level this season in which he generated one goal on nine shots, 35 hits and five blocks while averaging 8:40 of ice time. At this point, the youngster will be hard-pressed to break into the 23-man roster full-time next season but should see his fair share of call-ups throughout the campaign.

1h agoSt. Ivany agreed to terms on a three-year, two-way contract with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
St. Ivany managed just one point in his 14 NHL appearances this season while averaging 13:42 of ice time. The 24-year-old blueliner is likely a long shot to make the 23-man roster for Opening Night this fall but should be atop the list of potential call-ups throughout the year.

Flames' Martin Pospisil: Injured at World Championship
2h agoPospisil suffered an apparent upper-body injury in Slovakia's matchup with Sweden on Monday, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Pospisil has been lighting it up at the international tournament with three goals and four assists. In his rookie campaign, the 24-year-old center notched eight goals and 16 helpers despite not having a significant role with the man advantage. Barring a long-term injury, Pospisil should be capable of improving on those numbers in his sophomore campaign.

Ryan McDonagh NSH DLightning's Ryan McDonagh: Returning to Bolts
5h agoMcDonagh was traded to the Lightning from the Predators along with a 2024 fourth-round pick in exchange for a 2025 second-round selection and 2024 seventh-round pick.
McDonagh spent five seasons with the Lightning during his previous stint, logging 267 regular-season games for the club while lifting Lord Stanley's Cup twice during his stay. McDonagh figures to slot into a third pairing for the Lightning. With the acquisition of McDonagh, Tampa Bay is unlikely to re-sign Matt Dumba or Calvin de Haan.

6h agoLindgren was absent for his third straight day due to maintenance issues, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports Tuesday.
At this point, Lindgren's absences are becoming a concern regarding his availability for Game 1 against the Panthers on Wednesday. If the blueliner does miss any contests, it will likely result in increased ice time for Erik Gustafsson in addition to seeing Zac Jones enter the lineup for the first time since April 7 versus the Habs.
