Culp is an athletic tight end who serves as a flier for Tampa Bay in the final round of the draft. He was a member of the explosive Washington offense in 2023, but was limited to only 16 catches for 208 yards. He struggled to remain on the field consistently as a tight end, but he was part of kick and punt coverage units -- which is likely also his clearest path to an NFL roster.

Henderson actually started for Arizona State when he was just 17 years old, but he eventually transferred to Ann Arbor in his final season and started for the national-title winning team. Throughout his five career collegiate seasons, Henderson started 20 games at tackle and another 19 at guard, so his versatility could be useful for the Texans' offensive line depth.

7m agoThe Chiefs selected Hanson in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 248th overall.
Hanson was a three-year starter as a five-year player at Holy Cross, and now he heads to the Chiefs to try to win a roster spot as a reserve interior lineman. It might help his odds somewhat if he can give the Chiefs good practice reps at center after playing guard in college. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds Hanson is a bit tall and light for the interior, so he might need to bulk up on the practice squad first.

Harris was a 36-game starter at Auburn. His size (6-foot-2, 286 pounds) likely led to him being available this late, but Houston has a way of making undersized defensive tackles productive. Denico Autry is the obvious current example of that. Harris has the ability to get into the backfield with 11.0 tackles for loss and 7.0 sacks as a senior on The Plains.

The Packers likely wanted to jump in front of the priority undrafted free agent game, locking in the Tulane product with their second to last remaining seventh-round pick. A four-year collegiate starter, Pratt won't be mistaken for a run-first option behind center nor does he have a cannon for an arm, but he's a competitive quarterback who has improved his game significantly after just starting to play football for the first time in high school. It's entirely possible Pratt could push out the incumbent Sean Clifford for the team's backup job behind Jordan Love.

Byrd was a disruptive force in college, splitting his career between Wyoming and USC. In two seasons with the Trojans, he posted a combined 10 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss across 27 games. That production led to him getting drafted, but he lacks the twitch and speed that would likely be required to excel as a pro. Byrd should have the chance to develop further on a team's practice squad if he can't make the Texans' roster.

19m agoPhillips gave up an unearned run on one hit and struck out two Saturday to record his eighth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.
The closer's own throwing error with two outs put Davis Schneider aboard and led to Toronto's final run, but Phillips otherwise had little trouble sealing the victory. The right-hander is a perfect 8-for-8 in converting save chances to begin the season, and he's delivered a dazzling 0.77 ERA and 15:4 K:BB through 11.2 innings.

33m agoThe Red Sox transferred Casas (ribs) to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Casas was diagnosed with a cartilage tear in his left ribcage Friday, and it will officially cost him at least two months as he moves to the 60-day IL. The 24-year-old first baseman was optimistic Friday about returning to the lineup before the end of the season, but there is no telling when that might be, given the wide range of recovery timelines that come with his sort of injury. His roster spot will be given to Garrett Cooper, who was acquired from the Cubs on Saturday in exchange for cash and figures to take over as Boston's primary first baseman while Casas is out.

Wood will finally return after a prolonged absence, as he hasn't stepped on the court since Feb. 14. He's expected to have a role off the bench and will compete for frontcourt minutes with Jaxson Hayes, though by all accounts, his role will be minimal Saturday.

During Thursday's Game 3 win, Embiid finished with 50 points (13-19 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 19-21 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one block across 41 minutes.

Hakanpaa is likely not an option for Saturday's Game 3 or Monday's Game 4, and if the Stars don't win one of those games, their season is over. Hakanpaa's continued absence will keep Nils Lundkvist in the lineup on the third pairing. Hakanpaa can be considered out indefinitely until he resumes practicing with the team.

Fleury had a goal, five points, 31 hits and 40 blocks in 24 regular-season outings. He hasn't been in the lineup since April 6 because of the injury. If Fleury had been available for Game 4, he might have served as the seventh defenseman or been a healthy scratch.

Sergachev was previously ruled out for the entire first round, so this news is a huge surprise. However, Tampa Bay is down 3-0 in the series, so if the defenseman didn't come back now, then it might have been too late. He had two goals, 19 points, 36 hits and 70 blocks in 34 regular-season appearances. While Sergachev typically serves in a top-four capacity, his minutes might be limited in his first contest since February 7.

Vasilevskiy has gone 0-3 this postseason, surrendering nine goals on 94 shots (.904 save percentage). The Lightning need a victory Saturday to avoid a four-game sweep, and the team should get a boost from having Mikhail Sergachev (leg) back in the lineup.

3h agoDillon didn't receive any muscle or tendon damage as a result of the skate cut to his hand, which occurred during a scrum at the end of Friday's 6-2 loss to Colorado in Game 3. Although it's great news that he didn't suffer a more serious injury, the 33-year-old defenseman did require stitches and remains questionable for Game 4 versus the Avalanche on Sunday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports Saturday.
Dillon has three assists, four PIM, 12 hits and six blocks while averaging 21:04 of ice time across three playoff contests this year. He also accumulated eight goals, 20 points, 92 PIM, 241 hits and 111 blocks in 77 regular-season outings. If Dillon is forced to miss any action due to the injury, then Logan Stanley will likely draw into the lineup.

Forbort sat out the final 20 games of the regular season and Boston's first three playoff contests. He will be an option to play in Game 4 against Toronto on Saturday, but it wouldn't be surprising if he served as a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old blueliner earned four assists, 22 shots on goal, 65 blocked shots and 68 hits in 35 appearances during the 2023-24 campaign.
