DeVante Parker PHI WR
DeVante Parker: Announces retirement
1h agoParker announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Two months after signing a one-year contract with the Eagles, Parker has had a change of heart on a 10th season in the league. The 31-year-old cited spending more time with his family as the primary factor in his decision. He spent his first seven seasons in Miami before playing the previous two in New England. The Louisville product's most productive season came in 2019, as he tallied 1,202 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 72 receptions for the Dophins. He was projected to compete for a role behind A.J. Brown (knee) and DeVonta Smith at wide receiver in the upcoming season.

Cole Strange NE OG
Patriots' Cole Strange: Still dealing with injury
1h agoStrange (knee) was labeled as "month to month" in his recovery process by New England coach Jerod Mayo on Monday.
The offensive guard suffered the knee injury during a Week 15 loss to the Chiefs in 2023. Strange then missed the Patriots' final three games of the season. The 2022 first-round pick started all 17 regular season games as a rookie and all 10 that he played in last season.
-
Jacob Sirmon CLE QB
Jacob Sirmon: Let go by Cleveland
1h agoSirmon was waived by the Browns on Monday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
The quarterback signed with the Browns on May 12 after participating in the team's rookie minicamp. During his final collegiate season at Northern Colorado in 2023, Sirmon completed 56.4 percent of his passes for 1,255 yards, eight touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Drew Sanders DEN LB
Broncos' Drew Sanders: Suffers serious injury
2h agoSanders suffered a torn Achilles Monday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
The second-year linebacker played in all 17 games as a rookie but only started four, making 24 tackles. Sanders was likely to play a role in Denver's inside linebacker rotation with projected starters Alex Singleton and Cody Barton. Now, the 2023 third-round pick will miss most or all of the 2024 campaign.
-
Kyzir White ARI OLB
Cardinals' Kyzir White: Returns to action
2h agoWhite (biceps) took part in Arizona's first OTA Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
The linebacker tore his biceps in Week 11 of the 2023 season and missed the last six games. Before going out with the injury, White recorded 90 tackles and three passes defensed. The Cardinals signed him to a two-year, $10-million contract in 2023, so White should be in line to start this year if he stays healthy.
-
Daniel Jones NYG QB
Giants' Daniel Jones: Continues to progress in rehab
2h agoJones (knee) took part in 7-on-7 drills during Monday's OTA, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
After signing a four-year, $160 million contract with the Giants last offseason, Jones didn't live up to increase in pay in 2023, mostly due to a neck injury and then a torn ACL that he suffered in his right knee Week 9. Overall, he completed 108 of 160 passes (67.5 percent) for 909 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions while taking 40 carries for 206 yards and another TD in six appearances. Since undergoing surgery Nov. 22, Jones progressed to throwing by late February and running and some cutting by early May, with the aim to receive full medical clearance by training camp. He's expected to retake the reins of the offense once he's healthy, but two of the options on the quarterback depth chart behind him (Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito) have starting experience under their belts.

Eduardo Salazar LAD RP
Dodgers' Eduardo Salazar: Designated for assignment
20m agoSalazar was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Salazar was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday and he'll now be placed on waivers after being dropped from the Dodgers' 40-man roster. If he goes unclaimed, he'll likely remain with Oklahoma City. The Dodgers acquired reliever Yohan Ramirez via trade from the Mets on Monday and he'll replace Salazar on the 40-man roster and join Los Angeles ahead of their three-game series with the Diamondbacks.
-
Landon Knack LAD SP
Dodgers' Landon Knack: Demoted to Triple-A
22m agoKnack was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Knack filled in admirably Sunday in a spot start against the Reds, surrendering one run on three hits and one walk while fanning five over 4.2 innings. He'll be moved back to the minors to make room for Yohan Ramirez, who was acquired in a trade from the Mets earlier in the day.
-
Reese Olson DET SP
Tigers' Reese Olson: Leaves start early
32m agoOlson exited Monday's start against the Royals after being struck by a line drive in his right hip, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. He surrendered two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two over 2.2 innings before departing.
Olson was forced to leave the game after being hit by a comebacker that registered at 102 mph off the bat, though he did attempt to fire a few warmup pitches before the training staff walked him off the field, per Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press. Beau Brieske entered the game to replace Olson in the bottom of the third inning.
-
Miles Mastrobuoni CHC 2B
Cubs' Miles Mastrobuoni: Sent to Triple-A
1h agoMastrobuoni was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Monday, per MLB's transaction log.
Mastrobuoni went 0-for-10 at the dish over his last three games, and he'll be demoted to the minors now that Dansby Swanson (knee) is ready to be activated from the 10-day IL and Luiz Vasquez is ready to get a shot with the big-league club. Mastrobuoni will likely be seen again in the majors this season considering his versatility.
-
Pete Crow-Armstrong CHC CF
Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Optioned to Triple-A
1h agoCrow-Armstrong was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Monday.
Crow-Armstrong will return to Iowa after joining the major-league roster in late April, batting .236 with one home run, nine RBI, four runs scored and five stolen bases over 55 at-bats in 23 contests. The 22-year-old had been struggling to find consistent playing time in Chicago's lineup recently and he'll now see some extended run once again at Triple-A.
-
Dansby Swanson CHC SS
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Officially activated
1h agoSwanson (knee) was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday night, per MLB's transaction log.
Swanson was expected to be activated prior to Tuesday's game against Atlanta, and the team has elected to make the move official a bit earlier than anticipated despite not having a game Monday. Miles Mastrobuoni and Pete Crow-Armstrong were optioned to Triple-A Iowa in corresponding moves, making room for the upcoming promotion of Luis Vazquez.

Xavier Tillman BOS C
Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Questionable for Game 1
4h agoTillman is questionable for Tuesday's Game 1 against the Pacers due to personal reasons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Tillman hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation during the playoffs, appearing in just three matchups and averaging 1.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game. While it's unclear whether he'll be available to begin the Eastern Conference Finals, his status shouldn't significantly impact the rotation.
-
Kristaps Porzingis BOS C
Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Remains out for Game 1 of ECF
4h agoPorzingis (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Pacers.
As expected, Porzingis will remain sidelined to start the Eastern Conference Finals due to a right calf strain he suffered in Boston's opening-round series versus Miami. The Latvian big man didn't practice Monday, so it doesn't appear he's close to game action. However, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Friday that Boston is optimistic that Porzingis could return at some point during the series versus Indiana.

Kristaps Porzingis BOS C
Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Doesn't practice Monday
8h agoPorzingis (calf) didn't participate in Monday's practice session, Jay King of The Athletic reports.
Porzingis sustained a calf injury during the first round of the playoffs and isn't expected to be available for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers. His absence from practice reflects that pessimism, while Al Horford and Luke Kornet should continue to see an uptick in playing time during Tuesday's Game 1.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope DEN SG
Nuggets' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Poor offensive showing Sunday
14h agoCaldwell-Pope racked up five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Caldwell-Pope scored single digits for the sixth time in the past eight games, highlighting the Nuggets' struggles when it comes to depth on the offensive end. While he continues to play a key role for Denver, his lack of production cannot be ignored when it comes to fantasy value. Looking ahead to next season, there is no reason to think he will be anything more than a situational streamer, utilized for steals and threes.
-
Jamal Murray DEN PG
Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Scores game-high 35 points
14h agoMurray provided 35 points (13-27 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 43 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to Minnesota in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Murray did everything he could to get the Nuggets over the line but ultimately came up short. He and Nikola Jokic scored 69 of the Nuggets' 90 points, highlighting just how unimpactful their bench was. While it was a disappointing end for Murray, his production this year aligned with what fantasy managers expected coming into the season. Given they will likely be contending again next season, there is no reason to think anything changes from a fantasy perspective in 2024-25.
-
Michael Porter Jr. DEN SF
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Goes cold in Game 7 loss
14h agoPorter posted seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), nine rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season. Despite the poor postseason performance, Porter should be able to maintain mid-round value in most fantasy formats next season.
-
Stuart Skinner EDM G
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Gets starting nod for Game 7
7h agoSkinner will be between the road pipes for Monday's Game 7 clash with the Canucks, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.
Skinner returned from a two-game benching to stop 14 of 15 shots in a Game 6 win. In each of his last three appearances, the netminder has faced less than 20 shots, though that's not surprising since the Canucks have averaged a league-worst 21.1 shots per game in the postseason. If he can secure the win Monday, Skinner should be the presumptive starter moving forward.
-
Jani Hakanpaa DAL D
Stars' Jani Hakanpaa: Still day-to-day
7h agoHakanpaa (lower body) didn't practice Monday and remains day-to-day prior to Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday, according to Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News.
Hakanpaa has missed the last 26 contests, including Dallas' first 13 playoff outings. It is still unclear when he will be available to return. If Hakanpaa can't play Thursday, Alex Petrovic or Nils Lundkvist will be in the lineup against Edmonton or Vancouver.
-
Roope Hintz DAL LW
Stars' Roope Hintz: Remains day-to-day
7h agoHintz (upper body) is considered day-to-day ahead of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday, per Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News.
Hintz sat out the final two contests of Dallas' second-round series against Colorado. He has recorded two goals, six points, 13 shots on net and 15 hits through 11 playoff outings. Hintz skated Monday, but his availability for the start of the next round of the postseason remains unclear at this time.
-
Ilya Mikheyev VAN RW
Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: In action Monday
8h agoMikheyev (undisclosed) will rejoin the lineup for Game 7 versus the Oilers on Monday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Mikheyev missed the previous two contests with an apparent undisclosed injury. He has yet to register a point in 10 postseason contests. With Mikheyev back in action, Vasily Podkolzin is expected to serve as a healthy scratch.
-
Brock Boeser VAN RW
Canucks' Brock Boeser: Won't return this postseason
10h agoBoeser will miss the remainder of the 2024 playoffs after a blood-clotting issue was found in his leg following Vancouver's Game 6 loss to Edmonton on Saturday, per Sportsnet.
Boeser will conclude the postseason with seven goals and 12 points in 12 appearances. He also set career highs during the 2023-24 regular season, producing 40 goals and 73 points over 81 outings. If Ilya Mikheyev (undisclosed) can't play in Monday's Game 7 matchup versus the Oilers, Sam Lafferty or Linus Karlsson could draw into the lineup to replace Boeser.
-
Brett Seney CHI LW
Blackhawks' Brett Seney: Inks one-year extension
10h agoSeney signed a one-year, two-way contract with Chicago on Monday.
Seney supplied 23 goals and 63 points in 68 contests with AHL Rockford during the 2023-24 regular season. The 28-year-old forward has one goal in 11 NHL outings with the Blackhawks over the past two campaigns.
