Michael Wilson ARI WR
Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Outlook muddied after recent arrivals
1h agoWilson has more competition for targets from quarterback Kyler Murray after the team selected Marvin Harrison fourth overall in this year's draft and then signed seven-year pro Zay Jones last week, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson spent much of the offseason No. 2, at best, in the pecking order in the Cardinals passing game behind tight end Trey McBride, but the recent additions leave Wilson's potential volume in the upcoming campaign up in the air. As a rookie second-round pick last year, Wilson put together a 38-565-3 line on 58 targets in 13 contests, but he produced just 13 catches (on 25 targets) for 164 yards and one touchdown in five outings with Murray under center. The arrival of the dynamic Harrison likely leaves Wilson fending for looks with Jones, who has three years with at least 500 receiving yards on his resume.

Jonah Elliss DEN DE
Broncos' Jonah Elliss: On pace with recovery
2h agoElliss (shoulder) should be fully healed by training camp, Mike Klis of 9News reports.
Elliss underwent surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum six months ago, but he still isn't quite 100 percent. However, the Broncos' 2024 third-round selection was able to take part in walkthroughs and individual portions of the team's recent rookie minicamp. The son of former NFL player, Luther Elliss, Jonah projects to be a pass-rush specialist after recording 12 sacks in just 10 games at Utah last season.

Lucas Havrisik CLE K
Lucas Havrisik: Loses spot
3h agoHavrisik was waived by the Browns on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with Cleveland in January after the Rams waived him. He was expected to at least have the opportunity to compete with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Cade York for the team's kicker job in 2024, but instead, he'll become a free agent once again.
-
Corey Luciano SF C
Corey Luciano: Cut loose from team
3h agoLuciano was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Luciano was set to get a second opportunity with the 49ers after appearing in two games with the franchise last season. However, he'll now hit the open market again, to make room for swing tackle Chris Hubbard, and to keep San Francisco under the 90-man roster limit.

Jahmyr Gibbs DET RB
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: To see more touches in 2024
4h agoAppearing on The Rich Eisen Show on Monday, Lions GM Brad Holmes said he "definitely would expect" Gibbs to "see more of the load" out of the backfield in 2024.
Holmes added that he thinks Gibbs will also be even more involved in the passing game in his second season. Only seven running backs saw more targets than Gibbs' 71 in 2023, and his 52 catches were tied for the ninth-most at the position. Backfield mate David Montgomery out-carried Gibbs 219 to 182, but Gibbs had a commanding edge in the pass game with 47 more targets than the veteran. There's reason to believe Gibbs' touches will rise in 2024, but Montgomery isn't going away. This backfield will remain a one-two punch, and Montgomery is the favorite for carries when the Lions are trying to kill the clock when they have a lead. Gibbs' fantasy ceiling remains extremely high due to the overall explosive nature of Detroit's offense.

Earnest Brown IV SF DE
49ers' Earnest Brown: Gets let go
4h agoBrown was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Brown headed to San Francisco in February after appearing in 12 games over two seasons with the Rams. The Northwestern product will depart the team, along with center Corey Luciano, to make room for recent additions, Chris Hubbard and Shakel Brown to keep the 49ers under the current 90-man roster limit.

Korey Lee CHW C
White Sox's Korey Lee: Idle for nightcap
2m agoLee isn't in the White Sox's lineup for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader versus Washington.
Lee went 1-for-4 with a strikeout during a loss in Game 1, and he'll get a breather while Martin Maldonado starts behind the dish to conclude Tuesday's activities.
-
Victor Robles WAS CF
Nationals' Victor Robles: Sitting for nightcap
4m agoRobles is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader with the White Sox.
Robles will take a seat after he went 1-for-2 with an RBI sacrifice fly in the Nationals' 6-3 win over Chicago in Tuesday's matinee. Eddie Rosario will slide over to right field while Ildemaro Vargas enters the lineup in left field and bats eighth against the White Sox.
-
Jorge Soler SF DH
Giants' Jorge Soler: Hit in head during BP
10m agoSoler (shoulder) hit on the field Tuesday but walked off with a trainer after suffering an apparent injury, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
Tuesday marked the first time Soler has hit off the field since landing on the IL, but his session came to an abrupt end when he fouled off a ball that ricocheted off the top of the cage and hit him in the head. It's unclear how severe the damage is, but the 32-year-old was at least shaken up enough for him to be shut down for the day. The Giants will take a closer look at him and may offer more information on his status in the near future.

Owen White TEX RP
Rangers' Owen White: Returns to minors
1h agoThe Rangers optioned White to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.
The right-hander surrendered three runs over on inning Monday against Cleveland and has now been demoted to make room for Tuesday's starter Jack Leiter. White has surrendered six earned runs in his two MLB appearances this season and has a 5.70 ERA over 23.2 frames at Triple-A.
-
Blake Snell SF SP
Giants' Blake Snell: Next rehab start Friday
1h agoSnell (thigh) will make another rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
Snell fired four perfect innings while striking out seven batters during his first rehab outing at Single-A San Jose, though he'll be facing some tougher competition during his next start. Assuming everything goes smoothly, Friday is expected to be the 31-year-old's final game in the minors, putting him in line to return from the IL and start May 23 against the Pirates.
-
Brett Harris OAK 3B
Athletics' Brett Harris: Taking seat Tuesday
1h agoHarris is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Houston, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Harris started all 11 games at third base since being promoted by Oakland on May 3, and he'll receive a day off after he posted a .147/.333/.412 slash line. Abraham Toro will man the hot corner while Zack Gelof (oblique) returns from the injured list to start at second base.
-
Precious Achiuwa NY PF
Knicks' Precious Achiuwa: Heads to bench
26m agoAchiuwa isn't in the starting lineup in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers, Tony East of SI.com reports.
Achiuwa will be replaced by Miles McBride in the starting five Tuesday. Achiuwa is averaging 2.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes across his last 10 appearances coming off the bench.
-
Miles McBride NY PG
Knicks' Miles McBride: Enters starting lineup
28m agoMcBride will enter the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers, Tony East of SI.com reports.
The Knicks have dropped two games in a row and the series is tied, so they will shake things up by going smaller. With McBride starting, Precious Achiuwa will head to the bench. McBride was terrific in Sunday's Game 4, scoring 16 points with five rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes.

Tyrese Haliburton IND PG
Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Good to go for Game 5
1h agoHaliburton (back/ankle) is available for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Knicks.
Haliburton has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday despite dealing with lower back spasms, a sacral contusion, and a right ankle sprain. The star guard has been scorching the nets from the outside against New York, as he is converting 45.2 percent of his 10.5 three-point attempts per contest over the first four games of the series.
-
Olivier-Maxence Prosper DAL SF
Mavericks' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Out for Game 5
1h agoProsper (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Thunder.
Prosper has missed ten straight games with a sprained left ankle. HIs next chance to suit up will be Saturday.
-
Luka Doncic DAL PG
Mavericks' Luka Doncic: Expected to play Wednesday
1h agoDoncic (knee/ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's Game 5, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports.
Doncic continues to deal with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness but is expected to suit up yet again. Doncic is averaging 41.0 minutes per contest across the first four games of the series and is unlikely to operate under a minutes restriction in Game 5.
-
OG Anunoby NY SF
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Progressing in recovery
2h agoCoach Tom Thibodeau said Tuesday that Anunoby (hamstring) is getting in some "light work on the court", Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Anunoby has already been ruled out for Game 5 on Tuesday, marking his third straight absence due to a left hamstring strain. While the 25-year-old forward is progressing in his recovery, his status for Game 6 on Friday is in doubt.
-
Jeremy Swayman BOS G
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Starting Game 5
2h agoSwayman will protect the road goal versus the Panthers in Tuesday's Game 5, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Swayman has allowed 12 goals during his three-game losing streak, but head coach Jim Montgomery is sticking with the 25-year-old with the Bruins' season on the line. Through 10 playoff outings, Swayman has a 2.28 GAA and a .930 save percentage, though he has lost two of his last three road games.
-
Roope Hintz DAL LW
Stars' Roope Hintz: Undergoing testing
6h agoHintz (upper body) is still being evaluated ahead of Wednesday's Game 5 matchup against Colorado, according to Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News.
Hintz didn't return to Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4 after blocking a shot late in the first period. He has generated two goals, four assists, 13 shots on net and 15 hits in 11 outings this postseason. If Hintz isn't available to play in Game 5, Radek Faksa or Ty Dellandrea could suit up in Wednesday's contest versus Colorado.
-
Phillip Di Giuseppe VAN LW
Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Not playing in Game 4
6h agoDi Giuseppe (personal) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 versus Edmonton, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Di Giuseppe, who will miss his second straight contest, is expected to rejoin the team at Wednesday's practice. He has registered one assist, two shots on goal and 26 hits in eight outings this postseason. Once he is available to return, Di Giuseppe may replace Linus Karlsson or Nils Aman in the lineup.
-
Devon Toews COL D
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Traveling with team
6h agoToews (illness) will make the trip to Dallas ahead of Wednesday's must-win Game 5 versus the Stars, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Toews missed Monday's Game 4 due to an illness, but he's reportedly feeling better Tuesday, making it seem likely he'll return for Wednesday's must-win contest. The 30-year-old defender has collected one goal and six points through eight games this postseason.
-
Arturs Silovs VAN G
Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Making seventh straight start
6h agoSilovs will patrol the road crease versus Edmonton in Game 4 on Tuesday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Silovs was excellent in Game 3 on Sunday, turning aside 42 of a whopping 45 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. The Oilers appear set to split stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl between two lines Tuesday, so while Edmonton's first line won't be quite as intimidating, Silovs will presumably face a more balanced attack from the team in Game 4.
-
Adam Henrique EDM C
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Won't play Tuesday
7h agoHenrique (ankle) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 against the Canucks, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
