Jonah Elliss DEN DE
Broncos' Jonah Elliss: On pace with recovery
1h agoElliss (shoulder) should be fully healed by training camp, Mike Klis of 9News reports.
Elliss underwent surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum six months ago, but he still isn't quite 100 percent. However, the Broncos' 2024 third-round selection was able to take part in walkthroughs and individual portions of the team's recent rookie minicamp. The son of former NFL player, Luther Elliss, Jonah projects to be a pass-rush specialist after recording 12 sacks in just 10 games at Utah last season.

Lucas Havrisik CLE K
Lucas Havrisik: Loses spot
2h agoHavrisik was waived by the Browns on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with Cleveland in January after the Rams waived him. He was expected to at least have the opportunity to compete with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Cade York for the team's kicker job in 2024, but instead, he'll become a free agent once again.
-
Corey Luciano SF C
Corey Luciano: Cut loose from team
2h agoLuciano was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Luciano was set to get a second opportunity with the 49ers after appearing in two games with the franchise last season. However, he'll now hit the open market again, to make room for swing tackle Chris Hubbard, and to keep San Francisco under the 90-man roster limit.

Jahmyr Gibbs DET RB
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: To see more touches in 2024
2h agoAppearing on The Rich Eisen Show on Monday, Lions GM Brad Holmes said he "definitely would expect" Gibbs to "see more of the load" out of the backfield in 2024.
Holmes added that he thinks Gibbs will also be even more involved in the passing game in his second season. Only seven running backs saw more targets than Gibbs' 71 in 2023, and his 52 catches were tied for the ninth-most at the position. Backfield mate David Montgomery out-carried Gibbs 219 to 182, but Gibbs had a commanding edge in the pass game with 47 more targets than the veteran. There's reason to believe Gibbs' touches will rise in 2024, but Montgomery isn't going away. This backfield will remain a one-two punch, and Montgomery is the favorite for carries when the Lions are trying to kill the clock when they have a lead. Gibbs' fantasy ceiling remains extremely high due to the overall explosive nature of Detroit's offense.

Earnest Brown IV SF DE
49ers' Earnest Brown: Gets let go
2h agoBrown was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Brown headed to San Francisco in February after appearing in 12 games over two seasons with the Rams. The Northwestern product will depart the team, along with center Corey Luciano, to make room for recent additions, Chris Hubbard and Shakel Brown to keep the 49ers under the current 90-man roster limit.
-
Chris Hubbard TEN OT
49ers' Chris Hubbard: Lands in San Francisco
5h agoThe 49ers signed Hubbard (biceps) to a one-year, $1.38 million contract Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hubbard fills a need for San Francisco as a depth swing tackle. The veteran's 2023 campaign came to an early end Week 11 due to a biceps injury, from which he's now presumably recovered.

Jung Hoo Lee SF CF
Giants' Jung Hoo Lee: Structural damage in shoulder
4m agoImaging revealed structural damage in Lee's left shoulder Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Lee landed on the injured list Monday due to a dislocated shoulder, though it appears he may be at risk of missing an extended period of time. The 25-year-old outfielder will receive a second opinion from Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Thursday, at which point more will be known about the duration of Lee's absence. Luis Matos has started both games in center field for the Giants since Lee went down.

Aaron Nola PHI SP
Phillies' Aaron Nola: Complete game vs. Mets
5m agoNola (5-2) earned the win, allowing just four hits over nine shutout innings Tuesday against the Mets. He struck out eight.
Nola was dominant Tuesday, holding the Mets without a baserunner until the sixth inning en route to the fourth complete-game shutout of his career. It's certainly an encouraging outing for Nola, after he'd posted a subpar 5.59 ERA over his previous two starts (9.2 innings). The 30-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.10 on the season with a 1.09 WHIP and 55:15 K:BB through nine outings (58 innings). Nola's currently in line to make a second start this week Sunday at home versus the Nationals.
-
Pete Fairbanks TB RP
Rays' Pete Fairbanks: Available Tuesday
14m agoRays manager Kevin Cash said Fairbanks (finger) is available for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The right-hander was unavailable Monday due to a cut on his index finger, but he's good to go for Tuesday's contest. Fairbanks was reinstated from the injured list Saturday and delivered a scoreless frame in his lone appearance since being activated.
-
Bryan Ramos CHW 3B
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Exits with quad injury
15m agoRamos was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Nationals due to left quad tightness.
Ramos may have tweaked his quad while running from first to third base during the fifth inning, leading to his eventual removal in the seventh. The severity of his injury isn't immediately clear, though the White Sox may provide more details following Tuesday's twin bill.
-
Rowdy Tellez PIT 1B
Pirates' Rowdy Tellez: Sitting Tuesday
21m agoTellez isn't in the lineup Tuesday versus the Brewers.
Tellez has recorded just one hit across his last 22 plate appearances in an eight game span. For the season, the 29-year-old currently sits below the Mendoza Line amidst this slump. In his absence, Connor Joe will start at first base and bat cleanup.
-
Mark Vientos NYM 3B
Mets' Mark Vientos: Promotion imminent
23m agoThe Mets will recall Vientos from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Vientos has slashed .233/.343/.400 across 35 plate appearances since being sent down to Triple-A on April 30, and he will now return to New York -- presumably forming a platoon at third base with Brett Baty. Vientos went 3-for-7 with a two-run homer during his first stint in the majors.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper DAL SF
Mavericks' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Out for Game 5
9m agoProsper (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Thunder.

-
Luka Doncic DAL PG
Mavericks' Luka Doncic: Expected to play Wednesday
12m agoDoncic (knee/ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's Game 5, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports.
Doncic continues to deal with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness but is expected to suit up yet again. Doncic is averaging 41.0 minutes per contest across the first four games of the series and is unlikely to operate under a minutes restriction in Game 5.
-
OG Anunoby NY SF
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Progressing in recovery
21m agoCoach Tom Thibodeau said Tuesday that Anunoby (hamstring) is getting in some "light work on the court", Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Anunoby has already been ruled out for Game 5 on Tuesday, marking his third straight absence due to a left hamstring strain. While the 25-year-old forward is progressing in his recovery, his status for Game 6 on Friday is in doubt.
-
Caris LeVert CLE SG
Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable for Wednesday
1h agoLeVert (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.
LeVert started in place of Donovan Mitchell (calf) on Monday night, posting a respectable stat line across 39 minutes, despite the loss. With the Cavaliers hoping to roar back from a 3-1 deficit, the questionable tag is likely just a precaution as LeVert deals with a lingering knee injury.
-
Jarrett Allen CLE C
Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Questionable for Game 5
1h agoAllen (ribs) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.
Allen has missed the last seven games with a right rib contusion, but with the Cavaliers on the brink of elimination, they will hope to bring the big man back. If Allen is out, Evan Mobley will likely continue to start at center, with Isaac Okoro slotting in at power forward.
-
Ty Jerome CLE SG
Cavaliers' Ty Jerome: Another absence coming
1h agoJerome (ankle) is out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.
Jerome hasn't played since Oct. 27 while recovering from right ankle surgery. There is no indication that Jerome is nearing a return to action.
-
Jeremy Swayman BOS G
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Starting Game 5
15m agoSwayman will protect the road goal versus the Panthers in Tuesday's Game 5, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Swayman has allowed 12 goals during his three-game losing streak, but head coach Jim Montgomery is sticking with the 25-year-old with the Bruins' season on the line. Through 10 playoff outings, Swayman has a 2.28 GAA and a .930 save percentage, though he has lost two of his last three road games.
-
Roope Hintz DAL LW
Stars' Roope Hintz: Undergoing testing
4h agoHintz (upper body) is still being evaluated ahead of Wednesday's Game 5 matchup against Colorado, according to Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News.
Hintz didn't return to Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4 after blocking a shot late in the first period. He has generated two goals, four assists, 13 shots on net and 15 hits in 11 outings this postseason. If Hintz isn't available to play in Game 5, Radek Faksa or Ty Dellandrea could suit up in Wednesday's contest versus Colorado.
-
Phillip Di Giuseppe VAN LW
Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Not playing in Game 4
5h agoDi Giuseppe (personal) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 versus Edmonton, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Di Giuseppe, who will miss his second straight contest, is expected to rejoin the team at Wednesday's practice. He has registered one assist, two shots on goal and 26 hits in eight outings this postseason. Once he is available to return, Di Giuseppe may replace Linus Karlsson or Nils Aman in the lineup.
-
Devon Toews COL D
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Traveling with team
5h agoToews (illness) will make the trip to Dallas ahead of Wednesday's must-win Game 5 versus the Stars, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Toews missed Monday's Game 4 due to an illness, but he's reportedly feeling better Tuesday, making it seem likely he'll return for Wednesday's must-win contest. The 30-year-old defender has collected one goal and six points through eight games this postseason.
-
Arturs Silovs VAN G
Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Making seventh straight start
5h agoSilovs will patrol the road crease versus Edmonton in Game 4 on Tuesday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Silovs was excellent in Game 3 on Sunday, turning aside 42 of a whopping 45 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. The Oilers appear set to split stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl between two lines Tuesday, so while Edmonton's first line won't be quite as intimidating, Silovs will presumably face a more balanced attack from the team in Game 4.
-
Adam Henrique EDM C
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Won't play Tuesday
5h agoHenrique (ankle) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 against the Canucks, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
Henrique will miss his second straight contest. He has picked up one goal, one assist, four shots on net and 22 hits in six outings this postseason. The 34-year-old forward had 24 goals and 51 points in 82 appearances between the Oilers and Ducks during the 2023-24 regular season.
