Ja'Mion Franklin: Gets cut lose
12h agoFranklin (undisclosed) was waived by the Ravens with an injury designation Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Titus Leo IND DE
Colts' Titus Leo: Getting work in
12h agoLeo (undisclosed) participated in OTAs last week.
Leo spent the entirety of his rookie campaign on IR. Now healthy, he'll work to earn a depth role on the Colts' defensive line for 2024.
-
Eric Stokes GB CB
Packers' Eric Stokes: Healthy once again
12h agoStokes (hamstring) has been participating in OTAs this week, Zach Kruse of USA Today reports.
Injuries have hampered Stokes' last two seasons, but the third-year pro is feeling good in preparation for the 2024 campaign. The 25-year-old had the fifth-year option of his rookie option denied earlier in May, but a healthy and successful season could help earn him an extension next offseason.
-
Will Mallory IND TE
Colts' Will Mallory: Back on field
12h agoMallory (hamstring) participated in OTAs last week.
Mallory finished the 2023 campaign sidelined by an injury, but it appears the 2023 fifth-round selection has fully recovered. Although he was able to contribute 18 receptions and 207 yards in 12 regular-season games during his rookie campaign, he faces a crowded tight end room in Indianapolis with the return of Jelani Woods from a Hamstring injury, as well as holdovers Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree.
-
Nico Collins HOU WR
Texans' Nico Collins: Inks three-year extension
12h agoCollins agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $72.75 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Collins is coming off a breakout 2023 season in which he piled up a 80-1,297-8 receiving line on 109 targets (15 games), and even with Stefon Diggs in town on a one-year deal, Collins represents the future for Houston's wide receiver corps, as does second-year pro Tank Dell. While the addition of Diggs crowds the Texans' target distribution, as does the presence of capable pass-catching options like Joe Mixon in the backfield and tight end Dalton Schultz, this significant monetary commitment to Collins provides a bit of extra incentive for offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik to allow Collins and C.J. Stroud to feature the chemistry they demonstrated last season. If Stroud and the Texans can build off 2023 and hit the ground running, Collins should find himself as a frontman in one of the league's elite passing offenses.

3h agoIsbel went 0-for-2 with one RBI, one walk and one stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Twins.

Mike Siani STL CF
Cardinals' Mike Siani: Picks up steal Tuesday
3h agoSiani went 1-for-1 with a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.
Siani entered the game as a pinch runner for Brendan Donovan in the seventh inning, but he picked up his steal in the eighth. Siani initially got the day off while mired in an 0-for-14 slump over his last five contests. The outfielder is up to a .211/.272/.274 slash line with six steals, one home run, six RBI and 14 runs scored across 109 plate appearances this year. He's seen a starting role in center field lately, though Dylan Carlson got the nod there Tuesday.

-
Nolan Gorman STL 2B
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Blasts homer Tuesday
3h agoGorman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.
Gorman has four homers, two steals, eight RBI and eight runs scored over his last nine games, batting .321 (9-for-28) in that span. It's a good run of consistency at the plate for the infielder, who has struggled to put it all together at times this season. He's at a .214/.306/.428 slash line with nine long balls, 23 RBI, 21 runs scored and two steals through 47 contests overall while holding down a starting role at second base.
-
Nolan Arenado STL 3B
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Ends power drought
3h agoArenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.
Arenado went 11 games without a homer prior to Tuesday. In that span, he hit a paltry .222 (10-for-45). The third baseman took Andrew Abbott deep in the fourth inning to give the Cardinals all the offense they needed in the win. Arenado is still having a rough year overall with four homers, 25 RBI, 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .257/.311/.366 slash line over 52 contests. While the Cardinals' offense has struggled at times, Arenado has not been able to lead by example as much as he has in previous years.

3h agoSoto went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Angels.

Simone Fontecchio DET SF
Pistons' Simone Fontecchio: Undergoes toe surgery
13h agoFontecchio underwent surgery on his left great toe Tuesday, and he is expected to return by the start of training camp, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Fontecchio missed the final 14 games of the regular season due to a contusion on his right great toe, but he was a solid performer for the Pistons. The 28-year-old averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals in 30.2 minutes, starting in nine of 16 games. The sharpshooter is a restricted free agent, and he will likely garner interest from multiple teams including the Pistons. However, Fontecchio has made it clear that he is interested in returning to Detroit.
-
Mike Conley MIN PG

15h agoConley (Achilles) is questionable for Tuesday's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas.
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain but has played in the Timberwolves' last five matchups. Throughout the series, the veteran has averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.7 minutes. With the Timberwolves' season on the line Tuesday, Conley will likely give it a go once again.

Barkov also had four shots, three hits and an even plus-minus rating in 22:04 of ice time Tuesday night. The 28-year-old center is tied for second on the team in points so far during the postseason with six goals and 11 assists in 15 contests.

Reinhart has eight goals so far during the postseason which trails only Carter Verhaeghe (nine) for Florida. Reinhart is also tied for the team lead in power-play goals with four. Igor Shesterkin NYR G
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Otherwordly performance in loss
4h agoShesterkin turned aside 37 of 40 shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 4.
Shesterkin was simply phenomenal in Tuesday's loss, but he couldn't carry New York to a two-game series lead. He was beaten on a perfect shot in overtime by Florida's Sam Reinhart after New York had a defensive breakdown leading up to the goal. Shesterkin has been busy during the postseason -- he's faced at least 25 shots on goal in 13 of 14 appearances. The 28-year-old has also seen more rubber in each subsequent game of this series, although the last three contests have gone to overtime. So far this postseason, Shesterkin is 10-4 with a 2.33 GAA and a .925 save percentage.

Bobrovsky was busy in the first period of Tuesday's win with 13 saves, but he only faced 10 more shots over the final 40 minutes. This was a result of Florida controlling the play over their opponent again -- it's the ninth time in the last 10 outings that Bobrovsky has faced less than 30 shots on goal. The 35-year-old netminder has a record of 10-5 with a 2.31 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 15 postseason appearances. Bob and the Panthers will be in New York on Thursday for Game 5.
